Google AdSense is known for keeping the things secret until last moment. And anyone would do same when they are dealing with millions of people and billions of dollars every month. I am on the same boat as so many of Indian publishers who are worried as AdSense India payments are late this month.

Keyword Planning - The Easiest Way To Do It
If you are reading this post; then you have somewhat interest in blogging and hence you know what a keyword is. The real trick is how do you do it. There are a lot of software available on internet which either offer keyword planning for free; on monthly subscription base or by one time purchase of the software. But the best software in my view is Google Keyword Planner itself. It's free if you have an AdWords account. And even to Register for an AdWords account is free. Once you have your AdWords account you can plan your keywords for any targeted country and any search criteria like minimum CPC and minimum search numbers.
Open Google AdWords home page and login with your gmail account you used to make AdWords account. You will see Tools and analysis dropdown menu. Click and select "Keyword Planner."
[caption id="attachment_880" align="aligncenter" width="595"]
Getting Started[/caption]
This will open the below page. You will have different option like to get traffic estimate; to get ideas for new keyword and ad group. All SEO work is based upon keyword planning depending upon search volume. So we will select 2nd option which is get search volume for a list of keyword.
[caption id="attachment_881" align="aligncenter" width="550"]
Select Search Volume Based Planning Option[/caption]
Once you click it; you will be sent to the following page:

You shall add all your keywords chosen for keyword planning area in the white square. In the targeting box you can add the countries for which you need the analysis for. You can run the analysis either on Google alone or Google and search partners (Google Images, Google Shopping, Google Maps and all). Once these data is fed you can click on "Get Search Volume" button. (Negative keyword is for Advertisers who does not want their ads on specific content related site. for ef Nikon advertiser does not want his ads on sites containing Canon Review word.)
For Explanation purpose we will do the search for "SEO Services", "Nikon Camera" and "Proxy Server". This targeting is set for US and UK and on Google only.

This is what we got when we clicked Get Search volume.

You can see in the results image that people search Nikon Camera in UK and USA 22,200 times and there is high competition between advertisers for this keyword. It's CPC is somewhere around 0.62$ (my AdWords is based on Indian rupees; I came to this figure after I converted it to USD). Same way proxy server is the keyword which people search 1,35,000 times and it's CPC is almost 2.85$. SEO services has the highest CPC among these 3 keywords and so there must be high competition for ranking this keyword in Google too. The CPC for Proxy Server is almost 19$ and more.
Similar way you can get traffic estimation for the keyword in your country or the targeting country. You can also get the keyword and ad group idea from the similar tabs o the page. You can filter CPC thing here too. But as this is AdWords page; CPC is nowhere mentioned; suggested bid is more or less similar to CPC of AdSense. Suggested bid could bit higher than the actual CPC for you; as Google has his commission added in bid.
I hope this free Keyword Planning Tool helps you get more and more keyword ideas for your website and blog. There are some more keyword tools too; but why not pick something which is Google's own and a free tool. How Other Ad Network Can Get Your Adsense Banned
If you ask a newbie blogger or site developer his top 3 goals for his site; getting the site/blog approved for AdSense must feature in top 3. And this is the case because AdSense alone can make site or blog prime source of income. We have already discussed the Factors Affecting AdSense Approval and What Can Get Your Google AdSense Banned. You can see there are many reasons an account can be blocked because of. But in today's article we will focus on what AdSense does not like; from other Ad networks. Google has made it very clear that they are okay with you putting other Ad network codes with AdSense. Still there are few things which needs to be taken care when you are using AdSense. If they pay you in big $$$; they make sure you comply with the policies too. So; let's see what they don't like to see and what can get your AdSense banned.
As per the AdSense policy you can have maximum three Ad units on a single page. But some people make it Ad jungle; they definitely have 3 AdSense units but they have so many other ads which are either bought directly or from other Ad network. If you are doing so; it can not only hamper your reputation in visitor's eyes; but also AdSense can frown upon you. This is watched by big brother and can get your AdSense banned. :(

Ad Jungle[/caption]
Google AdSense policy clearly states that you can't have same look of other ad network just like AdSense. That means you can't have same background, font, colour and all for these ads. Google is known for the quality ads and they don't want their ads to be different than others. People who click AdSense ads they know the Google standards; so they Google does not want others to take benefit of their reliability and quality (and no one else would think the same too). A lot of people get their AdSense banned just because they fail to comply with this step.
Google AdSense does not allow its ads on content which contain adult content, hacking software, torrent sites and few other sites. See the full list of such prohibited content here.
Fine you are not adding any content with such things on your site; but are you checking your ads. Well certainly you should. And if your earning depends on ad revenue you must check before your site is listed as AdSense banned. See the screenshot below taken from a Gujarati Newspaper's e-version. This site is having more than 75k page views in a day. But when I saw this I was shocked.

Adult Themed Ad on Newspaper Site[/caption]
It is always advised to play safe when you have AdSense on your blog/site. You can have 2 accounts with so many other ad networks and you can re-apply once banned. But once you are AdSense banned; you can not get account that easily (only few people have got it back ).
This does not mean that you should have only AdSense ads on your site or blog. You can have such ads; but have a close watch on them. Make sure these ads are not conflicting with AdSense and Google term of conditions. And for that matter sometimes even AdSense ads might seem to be conflicting. This happens because some advertisers push adult nature ads on dating and friendship keywords. If this happens on your blog/site take the ad screenshot; note down info like time, page URL and send a mail to AdSense. If you are not having AdSense direct mailing facility (which is available to people who earn above 25$ every week); disable the ads on that page and find for the answer in Google AdSense Forum or Google Product Forums. Google staff is there and they can answer your questions on this matter.
So better play safe then sorry; check your ads on a regular interval and report anything you don't like to concerned Ad Network. They can block specific ads on your site/blog once you have requested them. Now a days most of the ad network have the filter facility as well which allows you to stop specific category of ad on your site. Real work starts after you have an approved AdSense; because it might take long to get your AdSense approved. But getting AdSense banned can be so easy and hasty.
1) Don't Make Your Site Ads Jungle:

How I Made 50$ Per Day In AdSense...!
Every time I look at Google Product Forums and and top SEO, Online Earning and other blogs; people mostly ask one question...! How do I make 10$ per day in AdSense? Or How Do I make 5$ per day in AdSense? And they are really right when they ask this question. As people have been earning 5$ per minute on AdSense; so they are well within their rights to ask for that much per day in Adsense...! Until last fortnight I had never crossed 10$ per day on Adsense. So what magic remedy helped me and how I made that much sum on Adsense.? Let me be very clear in saying that; I don't have Adsense on my blog as such (never applied though.. :) ). The magic remedy here was one of the YouTube video which made the way clear for me. Let me show you how the earning on Adsense rocketed by just one video. First let's see which video was that.

How I made 50$ per Day In Adsense[/caption]
This video was there in one of my friend's mobile which he took in some Dubai mall. I took the video from him and uploaded it on my YouTube Channel with his proper consent. I thought the video will just be one more video in my basket and my steady earning of 1-2$ per day on AdSense will continue. Hell no; I was wrong..! I was shocked when I saw my video's virality. First day itself it crossed 10000 YouTube views earning me 10$. Second day it scored 27$ for me with YouTube views. It Gained more and more popularity and I was able to achieve my best Adsense earning of 68.51$ in a day. And this was largely due to this video only which contributed to 98% of total earning. The earning is largely decreased but I am still able to earn 10$ per day in Adsense now; which is almost 10 times my daily Adsense average. I will share the things which I done to promote the video in coming post. Please bookmark our blog so you don't miss out those tips...!

Factors Affecting Adsense Account Approval
Adsense Account is the most sensible thing a blogger should go for.
If you are into blogging you probably know how important it is to have a Adsense account. Adsense is the best advertising platform around the globe. It is the highly trusted and wildly used advertising network and it has made so many people millionaires. Once you have an approved account with Adsense; you can put ads on your blog as well as YouTube videos and start earning money. The basic problem which is being faced by so many people who try to apply for the account is the REJECTION. Don't get demoralized by the rejection first of all. As we saw Adsense being the most reputed advertising network; it's approval procedure is bit hard. But if you keep in mind few things; you can have your Adsense account approved very easily. Let's see what stops the approval and how to overcome it.
[caption id="attachment_181" align="aligncenter" width="555"]
1) This is not the Child's Play.
Adsense is strictly for the adult people who are over 18 years of age. So, if you are yet to cross that mark please don't apply. Some people speak about accidentally putting the wrong age. I wonder how come one can forget to give his correct age in years. More than 5% of Adsense applications are being rejected because the applicant has given the age below 18. You might be asked for the age verification document if the Adsense team feels you have falsely claimed your age, so don't try to be adult before the right age.
2) Don't do multiple applications.
If you have already applied for Adsense account and waiting for the outcome of it, don't apply once again. If you apply multiple times, chances are that all your applications will be rejected. Adsense terms state that any person can only have Adsense once only. So, your multiple applications can be taken as violation of the terms. Best way is to wait for the outcome and then re-apply if rejected.
3) Domain age is also important.
If your domain is relatively new, chances for rejections are high. So, if you have any plan for a blog you can register the domain. This way it can be old in several days and no longer taken as neonate by Google. If possible, you can also buy the old domains in your niche. A year old domain certainly has more edge than a month old domain.
4) Have good content on your blog.
Good Content is the content which is unique, related and interesting for the site visitor. So, regularly post stuff on your blog which is not plagiarized, free from errors and interesting enough. It has been observed that Adsense account application for blogs who have more than 50 posts is approved easily compared to lesser post containing blogs.
Please don't have duplicate and plagiarized content on your blog, this can distant your chance of getting an Adsense account. Also pornography, drugs and tobacco products, hate articles, copyright infringing things like torrent links and all can harm your application. And for that matter, your account can be suspended if these things are found on your content even after you have approved Adsense.
5) Cosmetics can make you shine.
Basic policy of Google AdWords is, Full Value of customer's money. Google always thrives to bring more and more customer to their Advertisers and hence they are sometimes choosy. If your site is too basic and least attractive, they might not approve your account. Try to have nice site design which has high visitor acceptance. Few bloggers make a mess of site design in being too fancy. Site design here does not necessarily mean that you pay 100$ for the designing. Instead, it means that your site should simple and least confusing for your visitor.
6) Sitemaps and Privacy Policy.
The best thing is to include the site map and the privacy policy. Google likes them to see on your blog or site. Though there is no guarantee that you must get an Adsense account; if you have them on your site. But it has been observed that sites with sitemap and privacy policy links on them were 75% more likely to get an Adsense than those without it.
7) Don't go empty-handed. Have some posts on you blog first.
How come Google can check your site if you have only couple of posts. This is the most common mistake done by so many newbie bloggers. Which is applying for Adsense account on a freshly made blog. It is always advised that you have at least 40-50 posts on your blog when you apply for it. This allows the proper testing of your site.
We hope that these tips can help in getting an Adsense account. Try to follow as much tips as possible and you can surely have an approval email from Google Adsense.....Best of luck. If you feel any important tip has been missed out here. Let me know by comment and I will update it with your name... :)
10 Things Which Can get Your Adsense Account Blocked
Google Adsense Account is priceless, don't loose it...!
Google's Adsense program was released on July 18, 2003. Google hosts, administers, controls and sorts the advertisement which are placed on Adsense account holder's site content as well as host content programs like YouTube. Adsense has been a great way of earning at home for millions of blogger, video up-loaders and site owners as it is most beneficial compared to other ad networks. Google Adsense is the biggest by a far margin compared to all other ad networks and it has its own terms of use. Google is very strict when it comes to these TOU and you can permanently slaughter the daily egg bearing goose in lure of having some extra eggs one day. There are few things which can get you banned on your Adsense account. Some of them are mild and Google might send you an email warning about it. But some of them are very dangerous acts to do and can blacklist you for life. Let's see what are the things which can get you in trouble on Adsense.1) Self Click or Friendly Clicks or Paid Click.
NO....Never start clicking your ads yourself. You might think of using a proxy and start clicking them, but Google is smart enough to catch that too. Remember, there are geniuses filled in the internet world and if there was a loophole; Google might have to shut down this Adsense thing. Google has various tools and bots which can identify clicks by you.Same way, please don't ask your friends or colleagues to click on your ads. Once or twice you might be lucky but after that Big Bro will surely catch you. So, better you don't do it. Google understands that you can have an accidental click but accidents don't repeat everyday. So, don't get panic if you clicked it by mistake but also don't overdo it and be careful not to do it.
Google is also very strict against paid clicks. The moment they find out, forget about your Adsense account. And they are right, why would the advertiser bear the costs of invalid clicks, so they don't pay you a dime and refund the money you accumulated to the advertisers.
2) Changing the ad codes.
You Adsense account allows you to customize you ad format, fonts color etc. Google doesn't like its codes being altered. You can be on the loosing and if you do in particular- Hide any ad unit at any time using display: none
- Placing the ads in a way that it hides your content
- Anyhow show more than 3 ads
- Manipulate the ad targeting
- Edit the codes to make them floating and irritating to visitor
3) Never display more than 3 ad units on your page.
Google gives very much importance to the content of your site than the ads. For you ads might be bread and butter and you might be lured to show more than 3 ad units on your page. Though as a default Google Adsense does not allow that to happen but it has bee observed that some fellow edit the codes to do it. Also Google does not like it when you have a lot of other ad network ads on your site. Try to keep it clean and neat and stick to 3 Adsense ad units, only (or less).Adsense allows in all: 3 Adsense units, 3 link units and 2 search boxes on a single site...And that is maximum.
4) Don't show off you have gotten rich and how.
Never reveal your CPC, CTR and how much you earned via specific ad. It was not allowed to reveal your earning amount as well. But, it was allowed in the later TOS set. Also don't reveal the confidential information which was delivered to you on your Adsense account by Google.5) No more Help Asking and Click Here labels.
Please don't have any label near your ad unit which is pleading the users to click on the ads. People have habit of using Help Us or Click Here labels but Google is very strict against this now and you can have your account suspended because of this. Same way don't write anywhere on your site asking for people to click on the ads. This is caught within few minutes and you can have a caution email waiting for you in your mail.6) Let the ads open on the same page only.
Unless the visitor right-click your ad and himself wants it to be opened on the new tab or window, please don't ad any plugin or command which opens them on other page (tab/window). By default all the Adsense ads will open on the same page only and you are not allowed to alter it.7) Don't open multiple Adsense account.
You might think, there are too many terms and conditions to follow and you might fail to do in long run. You might be lured to open a new account in your name and keep it as backup; to be used when one account is blocked. But this is not allowed by Adsense. There have been incidences when accounts were blocked which were opened on the same address, though by entirely different person. Also bear in mind that account can only be opened once for a person only, so if you get your account blocked. It's bye bye only.
8) No Porn Please.
Adsense is not allowed for certain group of sites which include but not limited to the following:- Porn and adult based content
- Content against specific person, group or organization
- Pages containing copyright infringing materials
- Products related to tobacco, drugs and alcohol
- Content for hacking and cracking
- Pay to sites
- Content related to weapons and other violent things
- Any other illegal content
9) Altering the page after the click or searches.
Please never alter the ad page or search page the visitor reaches after the click or search by any means including redirects or by inhibiting the content. Google wants full value for the advertiser's money and if you are found doing this they might block you permanently.10) Why do you sound alien to me.?
As of today, Adsense is permitted on sites which are from the 36 languages it supports. The list of languages can be found here. Please check if your content is in one of these languages. Your Adsense account might not show the ads on such pages.Apart from these there are also different banned practices. Adsense does not allow them and suspension is always on the darts when you use them. Like keyword stuffing, bot practices and all. It is always a good idea to follow all the TOU of Google Adsense account after all Adsense is the biggest and highest paying ad network around. So, watch out for these conditions and keep your Adsense account in good status.
